It's definitely possible. You have to get a T6 (Torx 6) screwdriver. I think they're cheaper from a hardware store than they'd be from any website.

Go to http://www.ebay.com and search for siemens s56 faceplate. There are a bunch of them there. There are a few that are $9.99 'Buy it now' or $4.99 for bid that include the T6 screwdriver for free.

www.cutepcs.com is ok. Free shipping - not bad.

www.sunchamp.com is cheaper. Shipping is free after $10, but faceplates are $2.50 (and that's full housing - not just front cover and battery cover) rather than $15.00 more or less (which is what they cost at www.cutepcs.com).
