I downloaded a midi from modtones.com and saved it on my computer. Then i sent an email to my phone number with the midi as an attachment. My phone rang and i saved the midi to my phone and it was installed as a ringer. All went very smooth but am i getting charged for sending the email with that midi? please let me know before i blow a ton of money trying, thanks

Assuming you are with Verizon, you are getting charged 25 cents to receive that MIDI on your phone. VZW charges 25 cents to both send and receive multimedia messages (MMS) to and from your phone.

You can send yourself up to 100K of midis in 1 e-mail, they have to be under 30k each to be able to save them. I sent myself 5 midis for a quarter. Of course I wasted 50 cents before I figured out how to do it.
