.mp3 to .mid help

Whenever I switch from .mp3 to .mid I get a weird screeching sound in the .mid. Its happend both times I tried, any help?

are you converting the mp3 to mid or just changing the extension? mp3 and mid are two totally different formats and can not be converted to eacher other. all you need to do is change the ".mp3" extension to ".mid" and drag it into bitpim

hmm sorry cant help you there - have you tried downloading any mp3s preformatted for vx6000 and had success with them?
