Hi,
I'm currently with Verizon and have a Audiovox 9000 phone, but I was thinking about upgrading to the Kycocera 3035e. I was wondering if anybody had any comments about the 3035e, or any other recomendations. Thanks.

it's a good phone, nice big screen, good overall design and you'll like the antenna because it doesn't stick out like the rest.
the speaker phone feature is great
i think you will find the phone looks sleeker than your audiovox and no doubt you will like the 3035.

just curious...i like the blue screen..but i like the 3035 features..

Yea you'll also like that 3035e when you bring it back to us in a month when the contrast on the display goes out and its so dim you cant see it, Or when the phones speaker becomes defective and it no longer has any audio when it rings!!!

that stinks!!!!!!!!! is the 2235 any better? why doesnt verizon just dump the 3035e then? i mean this isnt the 1st i have heard about your observations...the verizon store here in denver says the exact same thing....if i were verizon i would ship all my phones back to kyocera and tell them they are junk!!! then bring out a new 2300 series model..

Well we are the nations largest network provider.

I guess we just take the good with the bad.

2235 by the way has alot of the same problems but just with the earpiece. No worry though 1 out of every 5 work great. Due to the fact they are assembled by everyday people on an assembly line. Disgruntled?????? Who knows!

on the subject of the 3035e, kyocera was unique as far as the flushed antenae- (i wish my 2760 had one) & the screen is a luxury. i'd have upgraded to it if the heresay of bad rf & heating didn't get to me. kyocera should revamp this phone with a flattr body & color screen- (of same size), same unique antenae & replace the nav button to reminence the one on the samsung n400. fine tune the h*ll out of the chipset to be rid of the bug rf & heating, & make it backward compatible to the original 3035 accessories; then you'd have a keepr .

I happen to work for kyocera-wireless and i think the 3035 is one of the better phones that we have right now. When our 5135 ships out in a few days, i think you guys will like that as well as our 7135. I'm using both and am pretty pleased with both but still like my 3035 over both phones.

I hate the joystick on the 3035/3035e. Its way to loose you often end up pushing the wrong direction when trying to push in for select.

The Calender/Alarm clock function has issues on Verizon as well. it seems it stops working as soon as the phone is actiavted (they may have fixed this, im not sure)

The voice dial system on all the kyroceas is no where near as good as most of the others out there.

I havent had an 3035s with screen issues, but plenty of 2235s with them.

I know people that have had 2235's for a while and they've had no problems with them. I recently got two (verizon 2 for 1) and both seem to be working fine... maybe it's just mine... I don't know... but the blue screen kicks and is definately better then my Nokia 5165... that was a pos...
