Hi guys, I have recently purchased this phone off another Hofo member. Anyways, I am hoping some 8380 veterans can help me out here.

I am wondering how I can use my own songs for ringtones. What format can they be in? What are the steps to do it?

Seems like this phone multi-tasks. How do I close the applications? I press the home and the back button, but they don't seem to close the applications. For example, when I check in the TaskManager thing, I see that the apps I have opened are still open and I have to manually kill them to free up ram space.

Also, when I am looking for contact, can I seach by using alphabet? By number is kinda stupid, I mean, if I knew the number, I wouldn't have it saved. WTF?

Lastly, what are some of the apps that you guys would recommend me to install on this phone?

ok, another problem. do I have to setup the sms server or something? I can't receive sms for some reason.

Actually, that is how you close apps. That is the purpose of the task manager program.

ehh, hrmm... that is kinda stupid... i have to go into another app to kill another, what a great design... lol
