strange gd55 display icon? ! sign

So I tried to download a ringtone (mlb is sending free take me out to the ball game)
i of course realize after the fact that this is not going to work.
Afterwards my gd55 has a "!" sign in the display icon. Even after turning it on and off. And it keeps giving me the SMS incoming sound.
How do I get rid of the "!" sign? does it mean anything?

chances are the phone is still waiting for input from you since MLS is still trying to send it. I'd say put the SIM in a different phone that accepts incoming ringtones via wap and get it that way. You won't be able to use it on the GD55 but it should get rid of the ! mark on the phone after you put the SIM back in the GD55.
