yes it is possile and this is how:

  1. Turn BTon ur comp and fone
  2. make sure both ur comp and phone are 'paired' with each other
  3. go to ur pc
  4. go to ur blutooth software and see if their is a facility to send stuff there
  5. if not right click on the file, go to send to and look 4 bt
  6. so basicly try to send it
  7. i'd tell u how to do it but i havent used bt on a comp b4
  8. only fone to fone
  9. b4 u sned it go to recieve item (organizer>connectivity>recieve item)
  10. ur fone will ask u if u wanna accept the file
  11. press yes
  12. save the file in one of the folders in ur fone
  13. you do basicly the same to sned pics back
  14. but if its a 'security' file u cant send it to ur comp

i think thats how u would do it.

You don't need your phone and pc "paired". You just need to have "recieve object" enabled on your phone when you want to send to it (then right-click, send to, then appropriate option may vary depending on which adaptor you have - may be "X70" or "a nearby computer").

To send to your computer, just "bluetooth" option on the menu for the item on your phone you want to send. Note that you can't send the files that come pre-loaded.

sorry. i would have thought that u need them to be paired with each other because both devices need to know that each other are there.

The X70 can be seen by the computer as soon as it is set to receive object. The computer can probably be seen by the phone whenever the phone looks for it, though some adaptors may need to be turned on. Pairing is needed for things like connecting to the internet through you phone, or using a headset with it - i.e. for things where data is sent both ways over a sustained period of time, or where the devices need to find each other without you having to confirm which device to connect to.

Hi I just registered today to see if anyone can help me with this problem.

I have an x70 and bluetooth adaptor for my PC, which i have previously used to transfer files in both directions.

Today when attempting to send a ringtone fom PC > x70, I recieve the error message "FTP is not enabled on the selected device" This is obviously incorrect as I have already used the bluetooth adaptor to transfer files between the two devices. If anyone can help me sort this out I will be very greatful.

Welcome to hofo!

Double check that you've done it as you did before (check that X70 is on "receive object", rather than "make discoverable" being the most likely problem, I think), then if it still doesn't work, come back with more details (exactly what you did on the pc and the phone, what type of adaptor it is, and what software, if any, you are using). FTP is File Transfer Protocol, if that helps make the message make any more sense.

Oh, and it's "grateful". What being thankful has to do with fireplaces, I don't know, but there we go.

Hi
It is a problem of Drivers BT.
The decision of this problem:
Once, after inclusion PC, you should make so: You should choose "Send to"-> "BlueTooth"-> "Other", select "Panasonic X70". Further it is possible to continue as usually: "Send to"-> "BlueTooth"->"Panasonic X70".
