Kyocera Blade (Telus) n00b question

Hey,

What's up with the black (dark) LCD screen? (And I don't mean how the screen is dark when the backlight isn't on.)

When I turn the phone Off, it's almost as if the whole screen fills in, black.

I just got this phone yesterday, and I've never seen that happen before. (On every other phone the screen has stayed white/light/off). Is this how everyones works?

Or is there something wrong with mine?

Thanks, Steve

When you turn off your television, what colour does it turn?

Why are you comparing an lcd to a tv, they are hardly the same.

Maybe you didn't understand my question.

Most, if not everything that -I- have ever owned that had an LCD screen had a 'background colour' of light gray, and black text.

When you power off the phone (or hey if you take the battery out of your watch) the whole screen would go gray. Because theres no power to display any black.

When I turn my Kyocera Blade off, it doesn't go back to gray, it fills in black.

All I was asking, is if this is how everyone elses works? If it is... then great. If not, then I'll take it back.

Thanks, S
