4400 - How to delete default ringers and images?

There's no way I'll ever use the ringers and wallpaper that came with the phone again...is there a way to delete them from the phone to make room for my custom files?

No kidding? With all the things we can do to these phones, that's the last thing I expected to be un-hack-able.

No kidding. The default ringtones and wallpapers are all built into the firmware itself and to remove them you'd basically have to reprogram the phone. And yeah I agree I wish it could be done...I'd love a bit more space on my 4400. 1.5 megs (or 1.7 if you've removed *ahem* certain folders 
) isn't exactly a lot to work with but all in all I've found it to be an adequate amount, honestly.
