Possible solution to free ringtones and wap for vox 8500

While browsing the internet the other day i just happened to stumble across this thing called a wap push. From what i've read it is basically how to send yourself net alerts. It seems like it could work for sending ringtones and possibly getting wap for new 8500s but i didn't understand half of the stuff i read any way I couldn't figure out how to set one up myself based on the instructions given by http://www.ihub.com/WAP%20Push.htm but if you can get it to work plz post with info
