for those of you who own the q285, can u post pics of our actual phone (ie, u holding it, your lcd screen...). i wanna compare how the phone actually looks with pics i've seen online.



ps, i heard the phone comes in 2 colors... is it true?

I have to say that TCC has the nicest packaging of any Mobile phone that I have bought, wouldn't you agree?

THe phone is good. It got good reception and battery life.

The phone operation is actually pretty slick - The RF is very good, battery is very good (if not exceptional).

The only downside is the PC software & manual is in chinese

And alot of what you need to be able to do, you've got to "figure out" on your own, as no printed manual is available in english.

Interested in this phone. I know it doesn't have GPRS but does it have a browser that you can use via the "old method" Dialup or whatever it's called on a cell phone? hehe Just curious.

Yes, it does have a browser, and can surf WAP and check email using CSD (dialup), as long as your provider supports it, we are finding here in Canada that none of our GSM providers support it any more, instead deciding to go with the more expensive (for us) GPRS.
