Inno 90 Question

Hi, I have bought the Inno 90 about 3 weeks ago, so far it is working great. I just have a quick question, I am currently using a T-mobile account in the LA area. But the funny thing is, the inno 90 does not show T-mobile as the signal carrier at the NetworkName area when u first open up the phone to see the idle screen. Instead it shows up as being Cingular...not sure if this suppose to be like that, anyone has have this??

That means that your phone is using cingulars network. Try going to menu 6 6 and select manual and see what networks come up

the only networks that come up are Cingular and AT&T Wireless

my phone says Cingular, but ti's really T-mobile too. I just went to display and turned off network name. I know it's raelly using t-mobile because i can check my minutes on t-mobile. Also, when i switch my SIM into another phone, it'll say t-mobile. I think the inno is just getting messed up and reporting the wrong thing. I even tried changing connection profile to a different name, it doesn't change the carrier name on the front screen.

I think it was a factory configuration setting problems.

nope, i get all my bills from t-mobile. My phone is fully unlocked. I've put my friend's t-mobile sim card and it reports cingular. I've put a cingular sim card in and I still get cingular service. But it's still unlocked and using t-mobile.

i know i have the O.G. sim card from t-mobile and anywhere i put my sim card it says cingular , the newer sim cards say t-mobile ! i know we are using cingulars lines .

yup, I tried my SIM card on a Samsung E715 and reports T-Mobile as the carrier, guess the inno 90 is just built this way.

mine said cingular too, i figured it was just cause tmobile using cingular's network... i just turned off the 'network name display' (i have an 89, but i figure the 90 has that option too)

i asked the seller about that question and he told me that t-mobile uses cingular network and that's the reason why is it says cingular instead of t-mobile, since our inno phones are unlocked, they are not set for t-mobile.....

that is correct. if you try using other imported gsm phones, it will show the same thing too.

I like how the same thing is repeated several times
