EZ Sync USB Cable....

when i first bought this data cable i was able to put wallpapers and midis on really easy. II recently started tryin it again and I cant get anything. Every time i open BitPim i get error messages and ×××× so i dont THINK its my data cable although it could be. So if anyone can please help me out let me know. I REALLY want to get a ringtone on my phone since when i got it replaced for warrenty i lost the ones i had already!!!
Please help me out guys... Thanks!!!
