Ok, I can download ringtones/wallpapers with the newly acquired USB cable from freedomnet. The problem is..I, no matter what, can't set them up on the phone!! Ringtones play well and wallpapers show perfectly but I can't make them do their job.
Anyone has bumped into this kind of problem before?
Someone please come up with what I should do to make them work???
Thanks people!!

Hey ball4lyfe,
Check this link out on how to assign ringtones/wallpaper:

Hope it helps.

that was the instruction that I followed.
I don't think I did anything wrong but it still wouldn't work.
Any idea?
Thanks for your reply, though.

Is your problem that the ringtones or wallpaper can be played/viewed, but not assigned?
If you cannot assign it, it maybe your .desc file. Make sure they are correct. Open the .desc file in a Hex editor, and make sure location 08 has a unqiue #, so you can properly assign the ringtones/wallpaper.

I've finally got it to work. The problem was that..I kept on locating the unique number under the number of current ringtones that I have instead of putting them under location 8.
Thanks Aznmidnite and now I have another problem. I can download more than one ringtones but the name for the second one always seems to be overlapped with the ringtone that I already had before (the one that I downloaded wirelessly) so whenever I assign it, old one plays. First one still works great w/o any problems at all.
Do you have any idea why it's doing it?
Thanks!

And you turned your phone off and back on? And they are unique under 08?

use your phone to delete them,, and go at it again.. use the .desc on my site for a start because i know its right..and then change it for your files.. it should work. make sure you double check instructions
