Siemens M35 rubbish battery power. lithium ion any good>?

Hi there
Ive my siemens m35i over 2 years now and the battery power is completely useless. If i charge it up fully and get 1 phone call it runs out after that 1 phone call which wud be only bout 5 minutes long.Im serious it is that bad.
I was wondering if the lithium ion batteries for the siemens m35i are any good? or should I just forget about it and buy a new phone?
