It's very expensive. I'm sure if the phone is imported into the USA. It would cost about $1000.00.

it is indeed dual band, but if for use in israel, it'll be fine....

another thing to consider is the crappy batt life (only 300 mah!?!) and you've got to use a headset, you can't hold it to your head to use

Yeah, I'm aware of it's down points. The main reason to buy NEC N900 is showin-off, not the actual use of it; It is meant to be a second phone.
I guess the battery would hold up a few hours... And you can take it's cardle with you, and it will serve you as a 600 mAh extra battery (it is used simultaneously with the main battery).
I think I can live with that headphone thing...

The big problem is that N900 is very rare... I found just one store which ships world-wide and sales it, just under 1600 Euros( WHAT DA HELL ???).
