PC Sync (Innostream)

I just got my Inno90 yesterday with PC Sync and data cable, I installed it on my win98 comp and everything worked fine, after 30 minutes of uploading/converting my win98 froze. After restart I couldnt access PC Sync anymore, I can't even uninstall/reinstall because it gives me this stupid error :

"ERROR - : 1605 This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. "

I looked and the PC Sync folder doesn't exist on my computer anymore, but it is in Control Panels Add Remove Program list.

Right now I have to burn all the pictures and music that I want on my phone to a CD-r, then transfer them onto a old 6 year old laptop to use PC Sync on them.

Anyone else ever had this problem?

Well, for all I know, most Innostream's PC Sync softwares have bugs in them. Whether it's your problem or unable to connect to phone or anything else.

HAHA I am a genious, I started browsing through hidden folders, and found the leftover InstallShield scripts that stay in Program Files, turns out it was corrupted, I simply just deleted it and then reinstalled without errors, w00t!!

Good thing for my isomnia, otherwise I wouldnt have thought if this lol

mine works great, everytime i use it, works 100% , but i have one question, is there a way to delete the .mmf files that you uploaded to your phone? also i wanted to get rid of some "wap" addresses on the inno 89, can u get rid of those too? i tried going to empty temp files under internet but doesn't seem to delete the address bars, the reason why i wanted to delete them cuz i have too many.

To delete .mmf files, go to your 'Camera & Media menu' then 'Audio File' then 'Downloaded Audio' from there highlight the file you want to view/play/set as/delete, press the Option key (Left Soft Key) and scroll around, there should be a delete option.

Do the same thing for saved addresses, except access it from the internet browser

When connected to PC Sync, you can highlight the file and just press delete on your keyboard

I got the data cable and PC sync software off of eBay and it appears to be OEM. I have one problem or question, the stuff syncs pictures and ringtones including converting MP3s and I love all of that but there is NO contact synching software. I want to be able to get my computer and type in contacts and send it to the phone over the data cable. Does anyone know of contact software that will work on the Inno 90? Please post info if you do! Thanks...
