If you have Vision or web access, you should just be able to go online and go to the default PCS home page, where it gives you options like "1. Messaging 2. Downloads 3. News" ...etc.

Go to Messaging and you can choose Instant Messaging, Email, Chat, or Bizz Conn. Go to Instant Messaging and you can choose to use AOL Instant Messanger or Yahoo Messanger.

Exactly, AIM is already on your 4500.

I use mine a lot, the one thing I'd like to do is to find out how to turn off the text message notification of new messages. I'm sure there's a way, I just haven't found it yet.

ahh thank you both VERY MUCH!!!!

one question, will this interfere with any calls i recieve?

most times when i'm browsing the net, the calls don't get through, i'm wondering if it has the same affect

i'll test it myself but i want to know for sure

Whenever you are using the data connection you cannot receive calls.
