Just like the title says, I did a phone recover to my I730 using a backup of my codeplug and superagent RSS .04.
When it was done oviously everything would've been deleted like my custom ringtones, and wallpapers and games but the 3 OEM wallpapers were gone too!!!
The Oem ringers were still there thou but i just thought i would let you guys know what happened to me anyone else have that happen??

Hope this wasn't posted or found out before.
(MODZ, move if i'm in the wrong place or delete if you feelits been posted before.)

yes, unfortunately this is the protocol when doing a phone recover. the oem ringtones (you're probably talking about 1-12) are within firmware, so of course this would remain there. just load some new wallpaper/java/tones.

Yeah thats what i did. I was actually HAPPY to see those OEM wallpapers gone cause now i have more room for newer ones, kinda of perk for doing it in my opinion.

I'm just surprised no one ever mention this way of getting rid of the OEM wallpapers before since they just take up space and no one likes'em

This REALLY SUCKS when your using an LE, and you have a major problem....I speak from experience.

But at least the phone works....phone without the LE stuff is better then and expensive phat farm paper weight

You know what i never thought about that. This has to suck for you guys with the LE phones (bloomies,phatfarm etc.) But i would imagine you can get them back by just searching for OEM wallpapers cant you?? or maybe doing an software utility upgrage or something right??

(Remember kids don't try this at home without supervision. HAHAHAHAHAHA)

I'm an ASC, there's no way for it to get back to like it was before.

You can search for the OEM stuff, but it doesn't usually look right. Or sound the same. And the OEM startups...GONE, you can get them back and put them back on, but guess what....they'll be in your wallpaper list too.

Talked to |\/|oto about this, and they said to send it in, they'll redo the LE software....sorry, I dont trust them, or want to be without my phone for that long. The thought of going back to my 95 irks me.
