Howdy, guys.

I'm sure many of you have heard this before, but a search didn't pick up on the problem I have. Maybe someone can help.

I installed the "new" S56 Data Suite, connected via Bluetooth and successfully recognized the phone, and Outlook. However, when I try to synchronize my contacts, the "read out" process fails with this error:

Reading from Address book unsuccessful
Error 2147176447 (0x8004B001)
There is no connection. Reconnect to the mobile telephone and try again.

Ok, fine. But the phone IS connected, the data suite recognized the IMEI and and is displaying battery level. Other utilities work - for instance, I can download Email messages and the ringtone editor connects just fine.

Am I doing something wrong? If someone can help, I'd be grateful.

System / Equipment info:
S56 - Cingular
Belkin Bluetooth PCMCIA card
IBM T21 running XP Pro
Bluetooth configured for serial port on Com4. This is the port that I set the data suite to use. Can that be part of my problem? Do I need to set up a different com port for the software?
