Problem downloading ringtones to phone

When i use webjal to download ringtones to my phone it almost completes the download everytime but just before the end stops and says there was a communication error with my phone and that i should try chaning the baud rate on my phone to 19200 which I have done, so can someone please explain what i need to do to get ring tones on my phone?

What phone? wav or midi file? is it set to type o?

I have an i730 and I have the same problem when I try to uplaod .wav files I have made using ×××××. I have uploaded other wav files that were premade and they work fine. What do you mean by type o??? where is that set? on the phone on in the sound editor?

if you guys are using cooledit you're saving it as the wrong .wav
theres several types of .wavs that it lets you save it as

Ive had your problem, but I managed to fix it.
unfortunetly I forgot how I did it

what are you using to convert and edit, if you use sound recorder to edit you have to re convert it again and then it should work.

what program are you using to upload wavs to the i730? i have webjal and ××××× and neither lets me do wav.

I use webjal and have never had a problem. What version of webjal do you use?
