how to BLOCK internet on my Siemens S55

Hello...I'm new to this and hope you won't find my request too weird!

I have recently received a Siemens s55 from my mobile phone provider herre in Netherlands when I upgraded my contract with them.

I n my first bill, I have been charged €40 for 'internet usgae'. Now, apart from one failed attempt to get online with the phone, I have not consciously tried to use the internet on it.

I suppose that I have inadvertently pressed some hot key or other and not noticedthat it was connecting me to the internet.

Anyhow, I'm delighted to use the bluetooth function to check mail via my pda when I'm travelling, but have NO interest in using the phone for surfing the internet.

Anyone know how I can BLOCK internet on my phone...or at least disable any hotkeys/ shortcuts so to avoid future shocks on my bills??

Kind regards

Ed

well obviously if you are using the internet via your pda, youre going to get billed for internet use...

i know, its a crazy concept, but there is no way around it.

Thank you for that thoughtful reply.
I am already charged €50 for 'data download', which I have been told refers to checking my e-mail via bluetooth. I have been told the €40 is specifically for suring the net.
