*86 not editable when using Voice Commands from VOICE MENU?

I found 2 files that have *86 in them. I do not have the guts right now to edit them as it will change the size of the files.

The files are
nvm_002
and
voice.dat

I could narrow it down more but am not up to the task right now.

The way I found out (as other BITPIM users could) is to save the entire directory tree structure for the phone using BITPIM. Then extract it to a temp directory. Then do a search for any file containing *86.

Perhaps in the future I might get bold and edit one or both of these files and add "TTTT#passcode#". Then I would reupload the file to the phone via the USB and BITPIM.

If someone else wants to try this feel free.

Again I am only trying to make the VOICE COMMAND menu that has Time, Schedule, Contacts and Voice Mail ..... reflect *86 with my passcode.
Going into the Main Menu for 3-Messages and editing the *86 there DOES NOT change it on the VOICE MENU.
