I got my data cable from radioshack..............and tried wonlaoding the futuredial driver...............................something isn't righr because it isn't working...........................anyone have any ideas on what i can do?.................................

What is not working? Installing the drivers? Using BitPim?

The drivers........I can't find them i looked and found a dl on here for the futuredial drivers.....but I can't find them to laod onto my computer.......

These are the drivers you need if you are using the cable from radioshack.

If the drivers don't install (you get an error saying installation unsuccesful) then I don't know what your problem is.

Do you have BitPim?

If so, after installing the drivers, plug in your cable, plug in your phone, start BitPim, pick your phone, pick your com port, and that's it. Read the BitPim help files for your phone before you start messing around.

I failed to mention I purchased the straight cable from radio shack and downloaded bitpim.062..I am getting the phone not responding while downloading phonebook error. Do I have to return that cable and buy the other $55 dolar one?

Do not buy this cable for the LG4400...

Catalog# 17-789 marked as for LG 5350 and VX4400.

You need to buy this cable for the LG4400...

Catalog# 17-783 marked as for LG VX1/VX10.

If you have the first one, then return it and get the other one.

Do you see your phone in BitPim's settings for ComPort?

Yes and its in device manager. I returned the cable to radio shack and will purchase the other one..Thanks for the help.
