Slider SE47 and Verizon Wireless any definates on mp3s working?

Today I am actually gonna sign up wit Verizon and get the Slider phone. I was wondering if anyone has a definate answer whether or not you can use mp3 ringtones if u have Verizon. I read through all the other threads but it seems no one who had Verizon has really said if it worked or not. Also, do I just need to get the USB cable to be able to mp3 on the phone? Thanx for any help at all.

Yes, it definitely works with all Sliders regardless of the service. All you need to do is buy the USB or Serial cable and then download one of the free programs that lets you add and delete files on the phone (these are mentioned in other threads). Then you just take any MP3 you have, convert it to 24kbps, 16khz, and then use the program to place it into a specific folder on your phone. The MP3s sound pretty good on the phone...I don't know of too many phones that are out right now that let you play MP3s.
