I'm looking at making myself I bunch of ringer tones (wav files) and I've seen suggestions about under 25 secs, etc. because of size. Some clips I've downloaded are shorter like 19 secs.

What I really want to know it does anyone know how long it takes a call to go into your Voice Mail? I don't have another phone to test right now.

There really is no reason for a longer ring tone and it will tell you how long you have to pick of the call too if you get running to the phone. "Hurry end of the clip, song, etc."

I'm sure someone out there has the exact time but I think its about 4 rings, or 15 seconds. You can get extended ringing which will about double the time / rings before going to voicemail.
