Here is a Home screen I made from a picture I took when we went to Las Vegas last year:

Bleh... I don't have anything special yet... Maybe I'll post something better later. I like the idea of this thread for Smartphones though.

Well it doesn't seem like too many are into customizing their home screen. I'll add another that I did with a Longhorn theme,

Hey, how did you get your Smartphone to recognize TMobile? I'm always "roaming" in Cingular. And while not getting charged for this, I'd still like to get rid of that nonsense.

So, what gives?

You must live in California. As you may already know, there's some kind of Cingular / T-Mobile network sharing agreement in CA and NY. Read http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...threadid=304901 for more information if you haven't already. The tower you are using is in fact labeled as a Cingular tower. Don't worry, you're not charged extra.

I don't live in CA and I'm on a real T-Mobile tower so I don't have that issue. If I went to CA my phone would probably say Cingular also and if you went to a place such as NY, your phone would say T-Mobile. How to change your phone to say T-Mobile? I don't know. I heard a new SIM might help but I'm not totally sure if that'll work. I suggest you post in that thread about the Cingular / T-Mobile network sharing agreement.

You can use the Theme Generator program to make and/or edit themes for your homescreen. Available for free at Microsoft Home Screen Theme Generator . When you create or edit a home screen it will save the .hme file and a sample .jpg file to your hard drive and also transfer the .hme file to your phone if it is connected.

This is the theme I am using

and

I got it from here.

Theme

you need to be regged to view screenshots and d/l they have a bunch of themes and another I use is this one from time to time. I like them since they are pretty clean and shows alot more info than the default layouts.

I like this one and it does require a third party plugin for some of the features.

Other theme
