Hello,
I have a Sanyo 8100 Vision phone. I bought the phone-to-USB cable on eBay a while back and it came with no software. I have no idea what software is needed so I can surf, using my Vision, from my lap top. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated.

If you don't want to spend any money, you can download the drivers from Sanyo at http://www.sanyo.com/consumer/commu...ver_install.htm and then download the Sprint Connection Manager from http://www.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/s...loads/index.jsp - sheureka

I love how you copied this answer into 3 threads
Too bad people don't read before they post -- correction, before they post 3 times

Bah, so I'm a n00b at this forum, and since it looked like it moves slow in here, I posted the same Q in 2 forums, sue me.
BTW, I also have the Sprint third party employee plan. I seem to have trouble with service when leaving my area. I can call to any number within any area code that I'm in, but not my home area code. Ever experience that?
EDIT: And I knew about the Furutedial software, but it costs money, I like sheureka's post much better with the free stuff.

Sort of contradicted yourself there. I'll guess we can add that to the law suit
Next time be a little clearer, like I'm looking for a "FREE" way to use my phone as a modem.
And double posting IS frowned upon
