i think others should install and give verichat a try again...if on free tzone wap

I thought Verichat uses text messaging which costs money for each message you send. Is that an incorrect assertion? Just curious, as I want to install Verichat but want to ensure it doesn't cost a billion dollars to operate.

Epics.

I think it only uses a text message when you initially receive an instant message. After that it just uses data.

I am unable to login with my Treo 600 and grandfathered t-zones plan ($2.99 plan). Is it possible that I have some ports blocked?

I got verichat working last night. I e-mailed their support and asked for a version of verichat that is compatible with port 80. It works okay right now, but for some reason, when I'm not in the actual application I don't receive notifications when people IM me. Also, when I'm not in the application, it doesn't automatically set my status to away. Any ideas? are there some settings for this or something? I didn't see any.

Yea, let us know how that goes. I would like to know how to set the port=80 too.
Yea, the GPRS was down for a while all day yesterday, I almost thought my treo died.

Just e-mail verichat's support e-mail from their webpage and they'll send you the prc file.
