how do i use .qcp or mp3 file for my ringtone?? do i really need data cable to do that or is there another way to use those file other than midi cus midi songs sux!!!!

Well the easiest way is to use a data cable but you CAN email them to yourself with the VX6000, I believe. Here's a link to the program you'll need if you use a data cable (which I personally would recommend...both the program and cable that is), as well as some great tutorials and other info for the VX6000:

Yes it's all on that third link I provided! It gives you info on how to create and load QCP's and MP3's onto your phone.

Click Here

Scroll down a little ways and there is a bulleted list of questions that are anchored throughout the page. Just click on the question "How to create and load dead ringers/WAV ringers" and that will tell you all you need to know.

PS - Oh and if you only want to load, not create, MP3's and QCP's onto your phone, then skip to Step 8 on that page.

i got all the parts til sending qcp file. how do i send qcp files to my phone without datacable. i think that site allows you to use datacable. does anybody know how to send qcp file to your vx6000 without datacable???

Hi everyone, This is the exact thing i'm trying to do but hopefully i will upgrade to a new phone like the e815 from motorola soon, but for now, I still would like to try some new tricks on this old phone.
