How to DIY firmware upgrade 6230

I've got a Nokia 6230 running firmware version 03.14.
I understand that there is a new firmware released by Nokia and would like to upgrade as I wish to use my 6230 with my BMW bluetooth car kit.
Currently the 6230 does not fully work with my OEM bluetooth car kit as it cannot read any contacts?
Was wondering if this would be fixed with the new firmware?
Any help appreciated.

Which bluetooth car kit do you have?
I am also wondering the same thing about upgrading firmware.
