MOTOROLA V600 phone tools problem

i DL both of the mobile phone tools from ************ and when i click on the 2.26 it says "The installation program was not able to find on your pc a MobilePhone Tools software previously isntalled version" i DL 1.23 and 2.16. am i missing something???!!

Did you install 1.23 THEN 2.16, you have to do it in that order as 2.16 is only an update
