The Slider is a copy of the Siemens SL
and the upcoming Koi is a copy of the new Sony Ericsson S700
I think Kyocera is just copying GSM phones and making them CDMA! Some of their upcoming phones look like Siemns phones that have been out for 1-3 years! Not that i dont like Kyo, Im just saying that i noticed that they copied other companies phones

umm.. so all the candy bar or clamshell phones are compies of the first ones that came out? Come on, its a form factor, not a style of the phone. If they looked similar then its another story, but just because they both slide means nothing. I think its smart of them because they are bringing things to cdma that weren't there before

yeah i agree, it brings GSM coolness of phones to the quality cdma network

kyocera had been developing the SE47 even before the siemens SL series.... adn also had been made in different countries under a different name (the sky 5400 I believe). same applies to the Koi.
nokia copied kyocera by putting a flashlight in one of their phones. I don't feel like typing any more... I feel sick
