V400 housing on the V300

hi, if the v400 housing fits the v300, would the faceplate fit too?
also, if i put the v400 faceplate on the V300, wouldn't the metal piece of the camera on the V400 be missing?
and u can see the internal metal shield of the V300?

The v400 is slighty longer than the v300 also the v400 has a diffrent mirror type thingy
