Z600 phone lock

I bought a Z600 a few weeks back. I restarted it this morning and it started asking me for the phone lock code. The same sim was inserted, and I had not changed this code. I had not even activated it. The default code, 0000, is not working.
Does anyone know who else I could get the phone working again, preferably without losing all of it's content.
