I called to buy the vehicle installed hands free car kit for my 3250 today and the lady told me that it is no longer available. Yet it is still shown with pride HERE.

Bottom right hand corner. Is this thing going to become avialable again? This is one of the two reasons I bought the 3250 to use in Verizon. One was Walkie Talkie (which I am not sure I will ever get to use) and the other was the full install car kit (also which I may never see).

Did the lady say it was ever coming back?

Also, and this is a wild shot, but in the text of the kit description it says "Car kit requires professional installation". Is it possible they sell this through some kind of brick'n'mortar retailer?

Anyway, maybe people are unloading them on ebay. In any case, I think the answer will be found with someone at Kyocera and not here.

Yes. It was the full installation kit I am reffering to. Not the crappy portable kit they sell. It is the one in the picture in the link I put on here.

The guy at Kyocera said that he had not heard either way but if it was just a software issue, then it would be back. The lady at the accessory store said she got the feeling it would never be back. She has a guy that needs 50 of them too! He bought the last 15 she had in stock.
