hello

my nokia 8390 disconnects when i make a call. i would press in the number, then hit dial...and it would go quiet...quiet...then it does this *doo doo* type of beep and returns to the main screen. can someone tell my why my phone disconnects or tell me how to fix if it is possiable?

There is a code you can type into the 8390 to "activate speach codecs" I forget what it is but someone in the nokia forum should be able to help you out. I had a couple friends with 8390s that did that and when they punched in the code everything worked beautifully for a while. They had to put it in every once in a blue moon but it seemed to do the trick. I would still ask in the Nokia forum.
