Can battery affect reception?! (Inno 89)

This is probably an insane question, but after using my standard and slim battery, I have noticed a difference in reception between these two batteries. I seem to get better reception with the slim batter for some odd reason. Can this be confirmed by anybody or am I simply going crazy?

Battery performance can have an effect on reception, actually. It may not necessarily be that you swapped to a slim battery, but rather that your slim battery is brand new and properly broken in, therefore your phone can accept RX with greater ease.
