Z600 won't Ring

My new Z600 is great but it will not ring. I have tried all the ring settings, silent mode off, etc. but it just will not ring. Everything else works like a charm, including vibrate, but alas, no ring. Any ideas?

My sister got a Sony Ericsson z600 today aswell, and she now has the same problem. Keypad tones work but there is no other sound coming from the phone apart from the keypad tones. A friend of my friend had the same problem also, but cant remember how to fix it, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

they don't play any kind of ringtone at all?

try going into services menu > * < < * < *
then service tests, polyphonic

see if its set to 0

I never did get my SE Z600 to ring for phone calls. It would play sounds and do everything else. Finally I sent it back to the company I bought it from. They sent me a new phone, a Z600 Vodafone. It rings and does everything - EXCEPT if I try to capture a picture or go to the Web, it just restarts. Maybe this is a bad battery????

I got so frustrated I bought a Motorola V600 - a very cool phone, but it does not work with Apple iSync. Anyone know a fix for that?

I want a flip phone with Bluetooth, camera, and web that syncs with iSync. Are there any other choices?

My z600 just stopped ringing also.

Did anybody find a fix for this problem?

After 3 months, the ringer on my z600 just stopped.

I sent it to Solectron for repair ,9 days ago.

I just got the phone back, it was repaired and not replaced, and it works, as of now.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and hope that it stays fixed.
