Would the Screen size effect how a game is played on the phone?

for example.

The V300 screen size is bigger than the V878 screen size.

so would that mean, if i play a game that belongs to the V300 on the V878, would part of the game be croped off?

i know this happens on the T720i

and the V878 has the same screen size as the T720i.

or, would the game resize it's self.
