I just bought a 8890 and i wanted to change the face plate on it. I have problems on taking out the keypad and the slider. How do you take it out?

The slider is essentially a clamp around the main frame, you need to lift at the edges while simultaneously pulling it off the phone. Then two hex screws will be exposed. Done.

Hey, since you have pull it apart before. I am wondering what's this black square thing:

it's black with 4 cutout on it with 3 pong. I turn it around and this thing pop off. Now, I couldn't get onto the network. When doing network search, it said no system available when the 8390 next to it have full bar.

Please help.

i think thats the antena. its like plastic, black and rectangular
