Problem Connecting Phone

OK, I have 2 Nextel i730s. I've been using one for about a month, uploading everything fine. Just got a 2nd one for a family member to use on my acct., and when I try to connect to ×××××, I get this error message:
The phone you are trying to connect is busy. Please wait until the phone is finished with the operation and try to reconnect.
Yet the 1st i730 still works on it fine...can I only use the program w/one phone? Should I add it to a 2nd computer and use that one for the 2nd i730? Please help!

I get the same message when I have a Java application running in the background.
