Does inno90 latest firmware support GIF and midi?

Guys, i need your help again. Is inno90 which- latest firmware support midi format and GIF moving picture? Bcos my friend send me a mms attached with GIF moving picture and midi ringtone, i can open and heard the sound clearly then i go to object section and found out that the format icon who support midi and GIF as well.

But i still not dare to save it bcos i am afraid it will be store as hidden file. My firmware is March 2004. Any help of this is much appreciated.

i know the phone supports midi and gif files (even the moving ones) because i have those on my phone (dec 03 firmware) - i havent, however, tried downloading them from a mms - if you do save them, be sure to add the correct extension (.mid or .gif) just to be sure - but im positive the phone supports those files...

Thank u kricket for your replied. As u mention above, do i need to save like (Is my life.mid)? Should i type the extention .mid as well?

yeah - the innos have this quirk where sometimes it doesnt put the extension at the end of the file and then the file somehow gets "lost" in the phone and you can only remove it using the pc sync software

i always put the extensions at the end - sometimes, if the phone chooses to put the extension at the end by itself - youll be stuck with a file that looks like this: "song.mid.mid" - in that case, just rename it and erase the ".mid" and itll be fine

this is all just a precautionary measure to make sure you dont waste space from the phone's memory...
