ok if i buy the USB for my vx6k on daydeal can i just plug it right up to my comp and upload mp3 ringers and grapics etc? or do i need this BitPim software? does it come with the USB? is it already on my phone? do i need to download it?

please help. thanks

Yeah pretty much. You'll need the USB driver for the cable. That's the only other thing. And yes you'll need bitpim (or a program like it) to upload ringtones and wallpapers to your phone. It seems to be the easiest software to use, IMO. Here's a link for the VX6000 version of Bitpim:

And if you need any info on how to use Bitpim or anything just go here:

haha yeah. i have another question. how do you place a money order order at daydeal? im only 16 and i dont have a credit card yet.

I just took a look and in the FAQ section they list the following:

What are my payment options?

We accept payment for orders by credit card.

We also accept payment by personal check, money order, cashier's check and PayPal. All of your payment options are available in your shopping cart. For orders by check, money order or cashier's check, send payment to:

DayDeal, Inc.
9674 Telstar Ave, Unit J
El Monte, CA 91731

Orders paid by check will be sent out after the payment clears the bank. This normally takes 7 - 10 business days. Orders paid by money order or cashier's check will be sent out the day after we receive payment.

For more information about paying by Paypal, you can visit their website. Their web address (URL) is http://www.paypal.com. Our email address for payment by PayPal is "paypal@daydeal.com".

Oh and just FYI, if you have a radioshack nearby you can get a data cable for the VX6000 for about 4 bucks cheaper, not including shipping (5.99 S&H on daydeal, FYI), than daydeal's. Here's the link:

It's made by Futuredial (Prolific) which is well known here on Hofo. It's the brand I currently use with my phone, in fact, and I highly recommend it. Plus it'd save you having to mail in a check order and waiting for a week or two (if not more). Anyway, just a suggestion.

^^^ Thanks so much! i might just go to radio shack now. but the thing is i wanted the antenna from daydeal. oh well. i will check all the local malls and stuff first. im such a noob with all the cell phone stuff. lol

Again, no prob, man! Glad to be of service.

Thinking of getting one of those flashing antennas I take it? hehe Well just a pre-warning, those can affect your phones reception in a negative way. Some claim to never have any reception issues with the flashing antennas but large majority report a decrease in reception. I'm one of the majority, if you will, that find that the flashing antennas decreases a phones reception. I had one on my Sprint phone (before Verizon) and ended up switching back to the OEM one because of the decrease in reception. Also, the flashing function won't work too well, if at all, on your phone...or any CDMA phone for that matter. When I had mine, for example, it would work maybe a total of 10% of the time. The rest of the time it just sat there not doing a dang thing. If you want a replacement antenna the metal stub antennas on Daydeal and Eforcity, though not flashy and "cool," will offer about the same reception as the OEM antenna and will look a bit nicer to boot. (As a side note: some claim to also have reception issues with the stub antenna's as well but thus far, as far as mine goes, I have personally noted no difference in reception.) Here's one that is like the one I'm currently running on my VX4400, the only difference being that mine has a chrome ring instead of a gold ring:

I also have, but never use, this one (the first looks more profession and matches the phone color better but this one looks a bit cooler hehe):

Anyway, just another bit of friendly advice.
