I just got my USB Data Cable DIC-8300 and when I plug it in my phone tells me the battery is low (even though it's been charging all night and battery meter reads full) and it powers off.

Is this normal? Has any one else seen this?

Sorry if this is already posted somewhere I did a couple of searches and didn't find anything.

Same thing happens to me...have you been able to get your PC to recognize the USB cable/phone???

taking the battery off has fixed the issue of keeping the phone on for me. still cant find the right drivers though

actually i figred out the problem with the cable and powering off. you just have to push it in real hard so it clicks in fully. dont worry it wont break but push it in so it clicks and it will stay on. it might turn off while your jabbing it in but once you get it set just turn it back on and it will stay on.
