Setting up a WAP server on my home PC

I want to setup my own WAP gateway. I'm running WinXP Pro and I'm behind a Linksys router with a static IP. What software do I need on my PC to make it work? Are there any tutorials for this?

I did this using Kannel and Cygwin . Unfortunately, I didn't do a writeup at the time, but I can tell you that the process was involved building Kannel from source, and was somewhat painful. I don't recommend using Kannel on Windows unless you've got at least some Unix development experience.

Once I got it running it worked fine, except I found that my ISP was constantly changing my IP address. Of course, each time they did so, I had to notice, then re-program the phone. Not worth it to me, but YMMV.

Good luck!

I've got a static IP, so luckly my ISP won't be changing mine on me.

Are there no Windows-based WAP gateways? I don't think I'm up to building from source and running in Cygwin.
