i don't know where this topic should go and if this has anything to do with Mobiles, so please bare with me.

just 3-4 days ago my friend used my phone to make a prank call and it so happens to be someone on my phonebook.

yesterday my friend (the person who got prank called) messaged me on msn saying my friend should apologize because he literally swore and cursed at him and his family. He says it is okay to curse him, but he went overboard when he cursed at his family.
basically i told both him my friend prank called him, and i told my friend to say sorry, most likely he won't because he STILL thinks i am joking about this whole situation.

He also said i will get in sh*t if he doesn't say sorry, or he will call the police for harassment on my friend. Meaning I will be in trouble because he used my phone for the prank call. I am not scared one bit, because i gave my friend (the person who got prank called) my friend's home ph# and cell ph#, and it is not my voice if there was a recording.

Just wondering what can the police do about this? does this even concern the police at all? and what will happen to me because, afterall, it is my cell number.

The police probably won't be concerned unless one of two things happened or happen.

1. Threats were made during the phone call.

2. The pranks calls continue.
