WTF is this? I bought my 4500 middle of February. Got it home and left it on the charger for about 12 hours. Since then I've been cycling it pretty well.

Anyhow, I noticed today I talked on it for about an hour and its already down to 1 bar. It was on the charger for 7 hours previous to that. I know before I could talk at least 2.5 hours before the battery was "low". Its like It doesn't even see two bars now.

Could it be that my battery has already taken a dump? Oh well, I guess I'll just go back to best buy and get it replaced. That PSP will pay for itself with just one battery replacement!

I bought an after market battery for a 5400 in dec, as I wasn't happy about the talktime of the oem std battery--the after market battery did very well til about a month or so ago, and as yu mentioned, it appeared to have a noticeably shorter talk time--since I had bought 2 of the ext batteries, I began ising the 2nd one, and again, it was much improved over the 4 month old one.
