New P800 User Please help

I just bought a SE P800 from ebay (yeah I know I jumped on the bandwagon late). It came with everything but the manual and the cd so I went over to the SE website and downloaded the newest sync software. After setting it all up I can synchronize with Outlook but I can't install .sis files. For example I downloaded Opera from the SE website and then double-clicked it and then I get a popup saying that it is going to install it but after clicking OK It does nothing else. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

PS. just to let you know I did do a search and couldn't find a thread on this.
