** write down the original Ip's before you start **

From the main screen...
Enter this code to access the Up Link Ip.

Press the "Red" phone button (Power Button)

This takes you to the IP Link menu. (AKA Wap Gateways)
Select the one you want to change. (1, 2 or 3)

The sub menu for that choice displays.
There are four menu items.
These are the IP's and Ports for that Wap Gateway.

IP#1
Port#1

IP#2
Port#2

Choose the item you want to modify.
Mofify it by typing immediatly. (no need to press clear, it wont work)
Do the same for the port.

Now, when you use the web browser, you can select a Gateway for the IP you types in. This allows you to surf outside of the Phone carriers network.

its for the old version vox 8500's for virgin mobile. The new versions have firmware that prevents free wap access

Yeah hey SCarrier, how about you do us all a favor and quit bein a ××××. It's people like you that are a waste of space at Howard Forums. If you got something worth saying, then don't hesitate to post, but if all you want to do is be a ××××××× and talk ××××, don't waste my time. All I was trying to do was bring help from cellphonehacks.com(another cool website) over here for vox 8500 users. I didn't know this info was *old* or anything of that nature, so unless you got something informational to say, don't even post, your just wasting time and webspace.
